Collaboration to build a 'destination street'
The Peachtree Corridor Partnership was formed in the summer of 2007 to take the important first steps toward implementing the vision and recommendations of the Peachtree Corridor Task Force.
A privately funded organization, the Partnership reaches out to constituents throughout the proposed Peachtree Corridor – businesses and residents alike – to build broad and deep support for the Corridor. The organization also works to translate the Task Force’s ideas into a series of actions, each of which advances the Corridor project toward reality. In so doing, the Partnership engages and unifies key groups, including the Buckhead Improvement District, the Midtown Alliance, and the Atlanta Downtown Improvement District.
The Partnership is led by Raymond Christman, the retired president and CEO of the Federal Home Loan Bank of Atlanta and a member of the Task Force.
